Dear Friends,
My monthly missive has not quite completed its gestation cycle. Possibly because I am birthing a new series of concerts, workshops, and yes, the infamous book. What I wish to share at this moment is simple: we collectively made it through the doorway of the eclipse last week, and have arrived at a new point. You may have noticed your own sense of humor returning, or an ease about completing projects, and a general sigh of relief.
October will be a relatively easy month over-all. Come mid-November we go back into the fire. The more each of us uses this time of October to rid ourselves of any old baggage and embrace the fresh breezes and currents that are coming to us, the easier the next round of fire will be. This type of fire, remember, only burns that which our soul has decided is ready to be released. And it can only burn away those things that our personality continues to embrace.
My concerts this fall focus on the gentle and nourishing qualities found in both the Sacred Masculine and Divine Feminine. Focusing on the power of both to heal is the theme this fall in the planetary energies as well. We will continue, this year, to receive Sacred Masculine energies from beyond our corner of polarity creation until the Winter Solstice. And it is into the arms of the Divine Feminine that these Sacred Masculine energies fall. The greater our capacity to open our hearts to traditionally feminine qualities, the greater our ability to perceive the growth of new and potentially power filled qualities, both masculine and feminine, within our own lives.
With this in mind, I am offering a Meditation Concert in Candlelight (because even people who don't see energy or auras are apt to see spiritual energies when the living light of candles illuminates the room. The first of these is this weekend in Ann Arbor, Michigan (see listing below) and concerts in Ottawa, Columbus Ohio, and Atlanta follow.
I am also offering workshops especially for singers, actors, public speakers and healing practitioners. These have grown out of my ongoing work with members of Broadway shows, TV shows, and individual coachings for new age speakers (do you know how hard it is to keep your energy separate from hundreds of people listening to you at a conference?) These workshops are more detailed, and hence a bit longer. New York City is the principle training workshop for the east coast this year, being a full weekend. (Nov 4-5, with Individual Sessions following on Monday and Tuesday). I will also offer a one-day workshop, The Conscious Singer, for those interested in using their voices with healing energies. (Ann Arbor , Nov 18)
I thank each of you for the feedback and support you have given me over the years. I expect to see many of you again soon.
I would like to close with an observation from Mary that just came through &endash;
"Love isn't insisting that someone else love you, or care for you, or even like you. Love is letting another express themselves, and seeing within that expression a deeper possibility."
