Monthly Email Newsletter Due to the concern over passing viruses through email, especially large mailing lists, I wish to offer the following points:   The email newsletter that I send out is by request. I send it BCC so that the list cannot be intercepted by any single recepient. I am sending it from my AOL account, so the return address should ALWAYS read as NormaGentile@aol.com I NEVER EMAIL FROM THE WEBSITE ACCOUNT. ANY EMAIL RECEIVED FROM (norma, or info or anything)@healingchants.com IS FRAUDULENT. I am on a mac. That means that very few, in fact no email viruses that I know of right now can infect the mac operating system. Any virus infected emails that I receive meet their end in my inbox. There is a bug around that enters your email, finds an address, and emails the rest of your list as if it was coming from the address it choose. If you read the headers (tiny print at end of email) and compare the sender listed there with the sender at the top, you will find they do not match. Since many people send email to Norma@healingchants.com or info@healingchants.com it is an easy address to use as a fake sender's address. If you receive such an email, note the sender as listed in the headers at the bottom - that is most likely the person from whom the virus is sending the email.
