Fear and Finances
(what you give your attention to grows,
so let's do something different now)
Dear
Friends, As July
closes and opens into August so many of the same
energies from last August are with us. From my
perspective I am seeing issues around fear and
finances dominating the world. Clearly, what we
give our attention to grows. I felt drawn
to the DC area before September 11th to offer a
Meditation Concert and will bring this same concert
to Ann Arbor (Oct 12) and Toronto (Nov 2). A new
seminar on connecting more accurately with your
guides, especially for healers/intuitives has been
birthed, and comes to Ann Arbor Sept 14, Falls
Church VA Sept 7, Cleveland Sept 28 and Toronto Oct
26. I am feeling
drawn to Tucson the end of February, San Diego
early Feb, as well as Florida (Orlando, Miami
Beach, Tampa) in the spring. Perhaps it is getting
older and appreciating sun more, but if spirit
calls you or an organization to sponsor a workshop
or concert, please let me know. What follows
are a few comments from my principle guide,
Atamira, on fear and finances, and recreating our
world community and ourselves now. From
Atamira: Gently,
slowly, you as a race are moving into prosperity.
While it may not seem that way at the moment, you
are in the process of releasing that which no
longer serves your financial world, which is indeed
the underpinning of your society. Long ago your
collective consciousnesses (the matrix of our
Higher Selves or souls) decided to experiment with
the notion of free will. You, each of you, chose to
join this endeavor, launching into the universal
ocean a new energetic ship of
possibilities. Money is to
you as frozen spirit. As you fear the lack or
abundance of money, you fear the connection or
disconnection with spirit. Now why, you ask, would
anyone fear connecting with spirit? Because each
of you has created apart from spirit. You fear
losing what you have created as separate beings.
For each and
every creation reflects the remarkable uniqueness
of spirit which you are. The destruction of any of
these creations would lessen the strength of spirit
in your area of the universe. And for this reason
you pause and resist connecting back into
spirit. But we would
say to you that in rejoining spirit you will bring
these creations with you. It is these creations
that we seek to explore with you. The perception
that your will is not the will of spirit is false.
Any motion you make is spirit in motion because you
are spirit. It is your
judgment of the momentary outcome that leads you to
decide that you have created outside of spirit. You
can never create outside of spirit. Every and any
act is one of creation, of flow, of movement. Even
choosing not to act is an action. Your turning
to God or spirit is merely your acknowledgement of
the source of your creative acts. There is no shame
is remaining apart, for you are never truly
separated from spirit. Even the very atoms in your
physical body embrace spirit&endash; for that is
what fills the space between particles. Your
abilities to create grandeur and beauty are
unparalleled. As you turn your attention to that
which serves your own spirit, you gift unto others
the remembrance of how they can serve their own
spirits. This is the process of upliftment that you
are called to at this very moment. Walk in the
pain, the sorrow of others, and know your own power
and connection within. This is the greatest healing
for the planet &endash; to be that light which you
are. The will of
spirit, as you know it, is always colored by the
social and religious imprinting you carry. This
imprinting is at a cellular level within the DNA
you inherited from your biological parents, and in
the very core moral beliefs that you developed from
your society. No amount of
will power can alter your perception that
connecting with spirit is correct, and
disconnecting is incorrect.* It is only the
ability to love that altars this perception. It is
altered because in loving you step out of polarity
or duality, and into a contemplation of Oneness
that is shared with us. In this
Oneness you are able to see that all physical form
is a manifestation of our sacred matrix. Only
judgment allows you to perceive anything or anyone
as apart. And it is so simple to close your eyes,
recall the gentleness of your breath, and return.
All-That-Is never leaves, because we are
you. Therefore we
would say to you that fear is the pulling away from
your own creative power. Your experience of fear is
pointing out those places in your life where your
power is most needed. Stepping into the fear is the
equivalent of stepping into fire; except that this
fire is of spirit, and cleanses that which no
longer serves you. Money is
simply the energy and information of spirit frozen.
When you move money between people you are moving
frozen bits of spirit. Now, if you can simulate the
flowing of spirit between people with little bits
of paper and metal, just imagine what you can do
with an open heart! When you
receive love, you receive the essence of money. The
more vulnerable you are to love, the more aware you
become of how you relate to money. Fear is the
closing down of your relationship to both personal
power and spiritual guidance. Silence, stillness
and love open that connection. FOR RIGHT
NOW: from NORMA Not having
enough money. Why do I fear it? Because I might not
be able to pay my bills on time. Why do I fear not
being able to pay my bills? Because it would be a
disgrace to not be able to pay the bills. Why?
Because only people who are weak, ill, uneducated,
spiritually immature, etc can't pay their bills.
That was my
belief. My fear was caused by my judgments of those
parts of myself that felt ill and weak, or felt
that I did not know or understand a situation that
I had decided I should be able to understand. These
parts are now exposed, and it is these parts that
are seeking to be loved. Whatever
aspect of your life you deem unlovable is where
your own healing begins. Love yourself, and let
others love you. All else follows. -Norma

I think the point is that because we are spirit we
are never disconnected, and only our judgments make
us believe that we are separate,. It is this same
judgment that makes us believe that the disconnect
or connect is accurate. Both are unreal, because
we are always connected. Only the mind's perception
changes, which we can use to validate certain ideas
as 'spiritual' and others as
'non-spiritual'. What follows
