Love,
the in-between space September
5, 2001 What if love was the space between All? What if love was the dynamic, invisible web between all humans, all aspects of physicality, and all aspects of spirit? Perhaps the flow of love outward or inward is an illusion. Love may both define the space between us, and also be the space between us. This space can exist between two or more people, family members, or friends, or lovers. This space which is love can be between pets and humans as well as between humans and the land. It can be between humans and creations of artwork, weaving, woodworking, and more. At a microcosmic level, quantum physics is finding a 'force' that seems to bind and define the space between the particles of an atom. We are each made up of these atoms, and so from the most minute level we are love. The space between the protons, neutrons and electrons in our cells is love. How could we not then be the sum of that love, in our expression? This web of connection exists in all forms. As we speak of love, do you envision the unconditional love of your traditional definition of love? What if, as an example, we were to call the love that is the web between, just the web between? Allow that web to hold many different emotions and qualities, including some you would not consider loving. And yet they are. As your own emotional therapists point out, in order to hate, there must be love. Hatred, anger, and jealousy are merely misinterpretations of love. The unconditional love that you feel (still in a limited fashion) is the union of all these emotional energies, without the judgement that usually keeps them separated in your experience. What is given, is given to share. You know love because that is your expression. You never truly receive love; you receive the impression of love. You receive only the quality of inner connection that another has. It is resonance with the One that you perceive. And as you resonate with this connection, you too find your alignment, and so 'receive' love. Therefore, love is neither good nor bad. The web of connection, which is the energy of love, ties together all creation - from the microcosm of your atomic structure to the macrocosm of your solar system's rotational patterns. And in between, you stand. Just as love is the essence of creation's web, so you dwell as expressions of love in the 'in-between'. Our love
and blessings to all who read this,
